Safer. Healthy. Whole.

At the Black, Indigenous, & Queer Women of Color Mental Health Network, Inc., we envision a future where Black Women, Indigenous Women, and Queer Women of Color in Central Florida thrive in holistic mental health and wellness, free from barriers to mental health care. Our network strives to cultivate a culture of access, equity, and empowerment, where every BIQWOC individual has the resources, support, and opportunities needed to lean into and embrace mental wellness, to feel safe, healthy, and whole.

As we work towards this vision, our mission is threefold:

  1. Provide scholarships to BIQWOC-affirming mental health providers in Central Florida dedicated to offering quality mental health care to this vital and marginalized community.

  2. Offer education and training that centers and affirms the unique needs of Black, Indigenous, and Queer Women of Color in Central Florida.

  3. Develop an up-to-date, comprehensive resource hub that centralizes information, tools, and support networks for BIQWOC individuals.

Through these objectives, we aim to create a lived experience for BIQWOC in Central Florida that feels safer, centers total wellness, and affirms and celebrates BIQWOC individuals. We understand this is a significant challenge - and, #challengeaccepted.
